It’s my first time to go camping. Is outdoor cooking harder than normal cooking at home?

Yes, it definitely is. Unlike at your home where practically every cooking equipment and ingredient you need is just within reach (unless you run out of Paprika and have to rush to a nearby grocery store), outdoor, it’s a different story. Then there’s also the possibility of rain or winds that may make cooking a lot more challenging. But there are some ways to ensure that your outdoor cooking does not end up as a disaster. One way to do that is to invest on high quality outdoor cooking equipment that will make cooking much easier. Another is to create a menu for your dishes to prepare to give you an overview of the cooking utensils and ingredients you’ll need and so that you don’t forget anything important. Lastly, you can measure and pre-cook some of the ingredients at home to save you preparation and cooking time.
