How do I remove excessive grease and dirt build-up on my Coleman stoves?
Coleman stoves are not that hard to clean even if you have a boil over or grease and dirt build-up. After a boil-over, what you can do is unscrew the burner rings and bowls to clean up any fluid or food debris on the manifold with dishwashing detergent diluted with warm water. Rinse it afterwards with clean water. In case of heavy volumes of grease and dirt build-up inside the case or on the burners, you can bring your Coleman stove to the nearest car wash and have it cleaned with high pressurized washing. After that, be sure to turn the stove upside down to make sure there is no water retained in the manifold of the stove for this can cause rust and disrupt the efficiency of your stove.
