What is the difference between gas and battery Coleman Lanterns?

Posted September 18th, 2009 by admin

Gas and battery operated Coleman Lanterns are two of the most popular kinds. To know the difference, let us look into the pros and cons of each type. Gas lanterns are inexpensive to buy but you will spend much on gas refills to use it. These lanterns are easy to use and give off bright light but it can be dangerous if not practiced with proper precautions. On the other hand, battery lanterns are convenient to use because you do not need to refill it with gas. Another great thing about it is that you can use it inside your tent unlike a gas lantern. The only downside to this is that you will need to ensure that you bring sufficient batteries or that you have an outlet where you can recharge it.
