How do I clean up my Coleman Lanterns?

Posted September 18th, 2009 by admin

Cleaning Coleman Lanterns can hardly be called a chore because it is so easy to do. Simply wipe the lantern with warm water and dishwashing soap to clean it. Be sure to dry it thoroughly before storing. Aside from proper cleaning, proper storage and maintenance are also important to ensure that your lantern stays in top condition. Seal your lantern in a plastic bag or its original box and keep in a secure place free from spiders and others insects that can crawl into the unit and block fuel and airflow. Do not forget to oil the pump cup on the tank’s plunger using light machine oil twice every year.
