My husband and I are taking our kids out camping for five days. How do we ensure that we have all the necessary camping supplies?

Making and checklist ensures that all essentials are packed in. I further suggest that you divide the camping supplies into 5 categories namely, clothing, personal items, cooking/food provisions, shelter and survival items. Mom can take care of the clothing and personal accessories while dad can handle the last two items. Food being a major concern should be decided by all the family members. Planning the menu in advance will certainly help. Once this is set, coordinate with dad regarding the equipments and utensils that go with the food. In case you’re wondering, personal items include all the toiletries, sun block cream and Insect repellant. Survival items include the first aid kit, lanterns, flashlight, rope, map, compass, and batteries.
