I’ll be bringing my school kids in camp. What extra provisions should I bring with them around?
Extra clothing is always a priority. Choose clothes that can preferably be worn in layers. Kids sweat easily so a change in clothing is often necessary. Dry wet clothes as soon as possible. Take out the rope from the camping supplies and make a hanging clothesline. Don’t forget to bring extra socks. Socks often get wet as you trek along the river or a puddle of water. Aside from the usual camping food, bring the kids’ comfort food. These can be marshmallows, candies or chocolate bar which will always come in handy when cooking is still in progress and hunger pangs set in. Toys such as cards, board games or books will always keep them occupied especially when bad weather comes.
